Is there a risk of me going bald?

My dad is 58 and STILL has his hair intact, it didn’t even recede by a centimetre. He has curly hair. Whereas my mom’s side are bald and if not, have sparsened hair. They don’t have curls.
And I have curly hair, does that mean I am almost 100% assured to not going bald or is there still some chance? I believe my hair receded by a bit from the edges but I still reckon they come with aging.

is the chance 1 in 8 (grandparents times 2 = great grands) or is it worse if it comes from the mom.

Balding comes mainly from the mothers side. Be on the lookout

I have an entire branch in my family that's bald at like 25-30 but all of my direct ancestors are diffused thinners who don't start losing their hair until their 50's.
