Obviously eating less does drop you a few pounds but alot of that will be muscle and the superior way is clearly to eat healthy and work out. And it honestly pisses me off when i see people saying "why am i still fat" and "i barely eat" it should be common knowledge that your metabolism slows down after you stop eating so obviously you arent gonna lose the whight you want to

are you retarded

of course you lose weight when you don't eat

3500cals=~1lb of fat, regardless of weight or anything else

if your metabolic needs surpass this amount in a week (which is almost every human on earth, with the exception of children), you will lose weight accordingly

it isn't rocket science you twat

As i said in the OP obviously fasting short term will lose fat and glycogen but long term yiur body will shift to fat and protein stores, meaning muscle tissue can be broken down for energy once glycogen is depleted (Source)

weight loss is literally just your body using stored energy when calorie intake doesn’t meet energy demands.

from the start, if you eat less than you burn, your body pulls from glycogen, water, fat, and eventually some muscle tissue (LAST RESORT) to compensate

initially it’s mostly glycogen/water, but sustained deficits force greater reliance on fat stores (which depletes these first and foremost), with some protein breakdown possible over time (prolonged fasting).

this is why any diet, fasting included, works through the same mechanism: energy deficit (calories = energy). its basic physiology

Not only that but fasting can put stress on your endocrine system shifting hormones and worsening health indicators

Im not saying stuff your face with food im just saying eat a healthy diet 1000-2000 calories a day and work out and you will lose wheight a million times faster than just not eating

I genuinely dont understand why people are so against doing any actaul work towards getting a better body and would rather just LDAR and cope

Wheight gain isnt caused by food in general but specifically overconsumption of it. If you eat healthy and are physically active even in the slightest odds are you arent gonna gain wheight
