when your lower jaw is looking down (so its not parallel with the ground) and you advance it, you get a taller chin from the front

Longer ramus = implants or filler. No osteotomy

im not sure if you are referring to lengthening the ramus tho.
If you want a taller chin you can get implants, chin wing, genio, a bsso if your inclusional plane isn’t straight (minimal change tho), A bimax with cw as well (also minimal). Most jaw surgery’s that add chin height were combined with a genio

out of those options chin wing is probably the best besides implants aesthetically speaking. But who tf wants implants.
