With implants probably yeah. I don’t think genio would be a good choice. Your chin is already quite projected so you have a strong supremental fold. Advancing only the chin and not the mandible as a whole would probably look weird since it would get even stronger. Tho I’m no surgeon. I actually have the same issue. My mandible is recessed but my chin is projected. I will have to see what my surgeon proposes. I talk to many people and bsso seems like the best option here with setting the lower teeth back for a bigger mandible advancement. Tho I am really opposed to implants. If you are fine with them they can probably give a good result.

how are your teeth ? because mine are class 1, they’re not bad enough to get bsso every ortho that i consulted told me i didn’t need surgery otherwise i would have gotten bsso with no hesitation

Im a very mild class 2. also don’t listen to orthos lol. Bunch of bluepillee cucks. My bite is nearly perfect but my teeth are slanted inwards slightly. Every ortho I went to told me I’m fine lol. Didn’t even want to give me braces. I went straight to a blackpilled maxfac. I told him it’s only for aesthetics. As I Said tho my bite is nearly perfect. That’s why I will propose the idea of extracting two premolars, set back the lower teeth and this allow for a bsso advancement. Also I will procline my upper teeth for various reasons with braces. Additionally a chinwing. That’s what I will propose. Gotta see what he thinks.
