Is there any way to fix my recessed hairline

I’m 17 yo and i have a very mature, thinning hairline. And im afraid im going to have crazy temples soon (like my dad). And im not sure if im old enough for minoxidil. Are there any other options to fix that. If i don’t it’s over for me.
