is there anything else that works as good as damon braces?

i’m getting braces in 2 days to fix my bite and my clinic is vague about what they offer for some reason. not all clinics offer damon braces so what else is there just incase? i’m avoiding traditional braces with the rubber bands cuz i heard they fuck you up and limit maxillary growth apparently

Don't get braces they are useless and only harm you during development, if you have crowding you need expansion if you have a bite issue you need protraction. If you can stop it now do it, they are vague because they are the exact thing you avoid if they were a good place they would not be vague

Protaction is the opposite of recession to put it simply. Braces are forced to retract you due to the jaws being connected, a force will have an equal opposite force
