When you chew on primarily one side, the masseter unevenness causes that one side to experience more work and therefore due to the muscle traction on the affected side, that sides mandible can be thickened and look different.
This is if this even affects you whatsoever. But more likely than not it does. Feel both sides of your cheeks after clenching, or clench really hard and use an inverted filter to see if you can noticably see a difference.
I experienced this too, you need to chew on the other side more (by balancing the chewing, not by only chewing on the less dominant side non stop).
The face is a complex interconnected network of bones and muscles, if one thing is off over a long time it'll affect other parts.
