Is there something biological about losing patience with our parents as we age?

I turned 22 recently. Never have I been so intolerant of my parents. Me and some friends plan on moving out and living together next year, which I can't wait. It seems like almost everything that my parents do pisses me off. I'm constantly irritated and bothered by their actions.

Biological in the sense of a bird flying away from its nest in order to become more independent. Perhaps nature drives us to dislike our parents eventually so that we can leave them and become functional adults.

I was more intolerant of my dad when I was 17-18 tbh. I literally told him I didn't want anything to do with him anymore jfl. I regret how cringe I was.

But yeah I wouldn't be able to live with him full time. I'm just at home for a few months now after graduating. But living with others at uni also sucked. I am intolerant of most people as a whole, so wanna live alone, but costs more
