soon im going to hop on my first — and hopefully last — accutane journey (20mg -> 40mg -> 80mg) to deal with my really stubborn moderate acne.
but after reading like hella threads on here and overall guides i’m coming to buy these things while on it:
supplements:
1. non-drowsy 10mg antihistamine / claritin (deals with purge)
2. 1200mg fish oil (ill mainly get my dha and epa from food sources but this is extra protection for joints)
3. 300mg milk thistle (for liver protection; information on accutane and its effects on the liver kinda varies but my fam has some hereditary liver diseases out there so … might as well)
4. trace mineral supp that contains zinc, boron, manganese (i already have taken this before accutane but ive seen people say zinc is a solution for everything so i assume it will help)
5. vitamin D + K2 megadose / 10000 iu’s + 200mcg (strong strong bones jfl, but usually i would get my vitD from the sun but since ur allergic to that shit on the big A ill resort to this)
actual physical products:
1. aquaphor (mandatory purchase for dry lips)
2. eye drops / artifical tears (don’t want none of them yucky dry infectioned eyes)
3. saline nasal spray (also another thing to make sure i dont get dry but for the nostrils)
4. non-foaming gentle cleanser / la roche posay
5. occlusive moisturizer / vanicream
6. SPF 50 Pa++++ sunscreen
SO WHAT DO YALL THINK? is this a valid list of items to have or should i get more (or less)? lmk in the comments down belowwwww
