I'm planning jaw surgery with Dr. Ramieri to correct my congenital "short face" appearance, and minor asymmetries in both of my jaws. He's already drawn up a plan for me. I've attached a bunch of screenshots of the plans to this post.
I've already satisfied myself that the plan as if already stands will perfect my facial symmetry. At this point, I'm only concerned about my proportions.
Besides my asymmetries, my TWO main facial flaws are:
1). vertical maxillary deficiency (limited upper tooth show)
2). flat occlusal plane of 2.8°; this gives me a "flat" smile line, rather than a curved smile line, in which the lower edge of the upper teeth follow the upward curve of the lower lip.
My questions are:
1). Will the downgraft (8 mm) be sufficient for an incisor display of 100%, while still maintaining a gingival display of 0%? The ideal amount of gingival display in a male smile is zero, meaning that the the lower margin of the upper lip is resting directly at the gingival margin, neither above it, nor below it.
I've included an image of a smiling male model as a visual reference; his teeth are fully displayed when smiling (100% incisor display), but his gums are fully concealed (0% gingival display).
2). Will the change in the occlusal plane angle (from 2.8° to 8.0°) give me an ideal "smile arc", in which the lower edge of the upper teeth follow the upward curve of the lower lip, or should I ask Ramieri to increase it to 10.0°?
Refer back to the image of the male model, and observe how the curvature of the upper teeth is "matched" to the curvature of the lower lip, creating an ideal "smile arc". I've also included a diagram of what a "matched" smile arc would look like.
I understand that I obviously won't resemble the male model after surgery, because I don't have the rest of the facial features, but I should hopefully have his smile, if that's possible.
Here's a link to Imgur showing the images I've shared with the surgeon. The image are captioned for context:

I'm hoping I can get some high IQ opinions.
