It is rare, but you might have a lot of various immunologic reactions to the filler, from direct allergy, to foreign body reaction, up to a year after the injection
Another possibility: every person has different water retention. The amount of filler they have injected might have absorbed too much water. Possible if a wrong filler is used, or injected into the wrong layer: you need those on the bone
Anyways, these are all conjectures, I am not in any way a specialist, I am a CScel, so idk
