Thank you inshallah my abs will ascend40 bicycle crunches.
1 minute plank.
1 minute side plank (right)
1 minute side plank (left)
80 mountain climbers.
----- pause ------
25 raised knee crunches .
15 jack knife situps.
in this order, 3 times.
is my routine for abs, I practice vacuums sometimes too but it's not much of an exercise.

I will train brothercompletely retarded idea. show me a dude with narrow hips but big wide waste because of training obliques. or like you don't think massive amounts of steroids and training grew this dude's obliques at all, but you, who is having trouble putting on weight in general, is going to accidentally get your obliques too big for your frame?

add more reps, longer planks, not that hard.how do you progressively overload this routine?

i started training mine with weight recently and have already noticed they have gotten blockier and more visible even though I’m on a bulk.I heard it can make your waist bigger.
Imma try these out i a few hours, its arm day so i will train abs at the same timei started training mine with weight recently and have already noticed they have gotten blockier and more visible even though I’m on a bulk.
If you’re going to do them make sure you add some type of weight for the exercises you can already do over 20 reps on ie exercises like crunches. But never use weight when training the obliques so you don’t make the waist wider. I just stick to hanging leg raise twists for the obliques - it will develop the obliques just enough but it won’t bulk them up.
My go to exercises are:
Upper abs: Decline weighted crunches/sit-ups and/or cable crunches
Lower abs: hanging leg raises and/or L sit pull-ups
Obliques: hanging leg raise twists
Entire core at once: ab wheel rollouts
For a tighter waist: stomach vacuums
If you would like to train the serratus which I think would be ideal, you can do things like serratus punches or scapular push-ups . Your serratus will be trained already if you do things like overhead press, pullovers, or push-ups but I think it could still use some extra work.
And make sure you don’t overdo the ab training, especially if you decide to use weight. They should grow fast, and the last thing you wanna do is overdevelop them and look like an ogre. What I found is you can kind of treat them as an afterthought and they will still grow as long as you progressive overload.
I’ve heard some people say once you add muscle to the core and ab area you never lose it so be careful.
