When i was in a western small city, our imam was a black Mauritanian (There are some Mauritanians that look Moroccan in the north). Very good person, very humble. I have big love for the people of Mauritania.

im not but my family is sufi leaning i think. im more of a "wahhabi" since i only care about the quran and strong ahadith. but i dont consider myself a wahhabi/salafists since i dont care about the first three islamic generations unlike them and they also have a tendency to be outspoken about their disapproval of other islamic people which is not something i would ever do unless its really against islam like drinking alcohol, doing drugs, premarital sex etc.
