I’ve been thinking of running an experiment on my forearms to see if I see a difference in growth between isometrics vs isotonic sets.

has anyone here tried it and gotten actual results?

I built some thickness with isometrics on my left forearm.

It also felt nice but tracking progression is extremely difficult to track unless you have a force gauge or something to track force output.

I did it for my chest and it got quite buff, I wouldnt say more muscle was gained but when I looked in the mirror it felt quite thick. Keep on training hard and it is really beneficial for triceps

are isometrics when you jump around without weights

i think im thinking about pylometric lunges
