as if the renaissance, the enlightenment, and all other meaningful moral progress by humans never even happened, or barely happened
as if we're all pretty much just apes in the jungle again
people only care about looks, crime isn't even prosecuted anymore unless it's by straight white men, and history is ignored or rewritten
stupidity is rewarded, intelligence is punished, "feels over reals", and so on and so forth
tiktok videos are akin to jungle animals making primitive noises
