That's why debate on here and lookism is objectively much better. If someone is unjustifiably arguing in bad faith or makes a retarded point you can freely call them out on it.

Redditors on the other hand will just gish gallop you into oblivion and you have to act nice while systematically addressing their points while your comment gets downvoted to hell and dogpiled on.
