A lot fo people repeat verbatim abt how you need to touch grass and log off when they talk abt people being overly online but as the years go by even normies are becoming extremely online, so many are glued into instagram or tiktok meme trends to the point where it bleeds out into irl conversation and culture, Internet culture has become so predominant in the youth to the point where the line between your online persona and your offline persona are becoming extremely blurred, I bet by 3-5 years time every facet of irl social life and norms will be extremely downstream of online trends and there will be very little seperation of online and offline spaces

No shit. The world's richest man is chronically online. There's very little to do irl.

A lot of people deny it though, people who when come into contacts with niche terms from online communities will go "MAYNEE SHIEET MANEE LOG OFF DIS IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE O ALGO MAYNEEE TOUCH GRASS SHIEET" without realizing the irony that almost every in day to day life in regards to socializing with other ppl irl is now downstream and heavily influenced by online communities to the point where the online world is becoming the place for socialization
