That's because religions are man-made, and therefore some fairy tales, and they happen to have been created during a period when cultures and civilizations sought to limit women’s power as much as possible, for absolutely no reason other than the fact that most people back then were basically dumb incels, because hypergamy was at its absolute peak, given the extremely small middle class, and societies were generally divided very drastically between the poor/slaves and the elite/rulers..

All religion and philosophy ultimately aims for power. They sought to limit the rights of women have because they knew that if you control the women you control the men too.
Women are more easily manipulated on average by propaganda and if you get enough of them to believe in it they will start imposing it on the men via nagging and social shaming, e.g: "You aren't man enough".
