There are just in general a lot of things that are taken for granted nowadays.

I'd say in terms of quality of life for an MTN, the 21st century first world is probably in like top 5 eras.

1960 is not medieval, and living in post-agricultural, pre-industrial society would not be good for most people, there were rigid social hierarchies and you'd likely be toiling away in a field. Ideal is hunter gatherer society or 20th century IMO.
