It's not hypocritical because it's a false equivalence, sex is completetely different for men and women. In order to fulfill their biological needs men need to impregnate as many women as possible, but women just need one man who will take care of them and secure their offspring. Men cheat for sex, women cheat because deep inside they feel the lover is a better partner. One is just a fulfillment of sexual drive, the other is true betrayal.

From the redpill perspective: If a man cheat it can mean absolutely nothing. If a woman cheat her "head" is gone. Her bf/husband is not on her mind at all anymore, no feelings and he's basically dead to her. According to this perspective, yes, men can cheat and women can't.

Transactions of equal value may be transpiring on an unconscious level. Whether we like it or not. But emotional fluctuations are also a consequence of it.
