And there are fewer and fewer places to go. They closed a couple of manosphere forums in Spanish in recent years, the only thing that remains are the Master forums and a degraded version of 4chan

Unironically fringe anonymous forums, like this one, are so much more fulfilling than friends/coworkers/even family in most cases. There are no power ploys at play, people are can say virtually whatever's on their mind without negative feedback harming their irl status, you can instantly filter anyone you don't like/care about, you can unwind and spew garbage about whatever esoteric thing you're interested in and have dozens of other people honestly validate and critique your views. Despite literally having no idea who's posting on the other side, their name, face, story etc the interactions I've had on here have been way more authentic than anything I've ever experienced irl.
