Alright so I’m 15 and I’ve recently started accutane 2 months ago. In the first month i was taking a 10mg capsule every 2 days and in the second month a 10mg capsule every day, and soon switching to 2 10mg capsules every day, which is like 20mg a day which i will take like an year. I have seen absolutely no difference other than the side effects which is severe dryness of the lips and muscle pain, thats about it. Is it normal to not kick in this early? If so, when will my acne clear up?

your dose fucking sucks

Will need a few months

Just be patient and don't the stop to take accutane

Up dose to 30-40mg and as soon as the acne clears up lower the dose to 20mg

how bro check your dosing

acutane is cope you need to bleach ur skin, and remove any excess pimple with a butter knife.

niggas just be saying that everything is cope now

what should my dosing be tho dermatologist told me my dose is alr should i talk to her
Okay if your derma said its normal just ask her if its normal that even after 2 whole months you got no effect. But sometimes it happens Accutane interacts diff from person to person but they key is to be patient

your dosing is really bad, this shit is gonna take you years to finish. I self-medicated accutane and it was fine. what do you weight? there is no reason for the derma to give you such an insignificant dose unless you have prior liver issues.

I didn't see perfect results until I did 30mg of accutane daily.

i will but i havent really talked to her all that much abt my progress a few days ago i started exercising and eating healthier like no more junk or processed sugar so maybe itll help more

don’t listen to these retards, your dose is the perfect health-results balance and the safest way to fix acne, will take a long time to kick in as you noticed though.
You will be starting to notice a difference around 8-10 months mark, I have been on 20mg for 3 years, liver enzymes are perfect

bro she should prescribe 1mg/1kg. 0.5mg/kg minimum 1.5mg/kg maximum. You should be taking 30-->60mg daily if you want to see results in 5-7 months and not in 2 years.
