You can certainly present as rich on a fairly low budget using things like fakes and replicas though. Your brain craves the real thing but externally there’s no difference.

I think it’s also tied to working - before I became a wagecuck again I was basically retired for three years living off investments. During that time I never really felt inferiority or desire for more than I had, despite living very frugally. In fact, I felt superior to wagecucks regardless of their wealth.


Given the choice, I’d rather not work to feel superior, than work and buy shiny stuff to feel superior.
