i've lost the vision of myself

the last time i felt like this was early 2024. i had every mirror and window covered so i wouldn't have to see myself.
since then, my eyes have rotted. i can look in the mirror now, but the face staring back feels like someone else.

to remember who i am, i trace my fingers across my skull to feel the angularity.
it's as if i've lost the ability to see myself, and can only know myself through touch.

Dextromethorphan is an SSRI and in higher dosages an NMDA antagonist and both of these drug classes have plenty of literature suggesting that they can help alleviate depression symptoms. Depending on where you live, you should be able to buy it over the counter, which is why I am suggesting it. If you want to try it, you need to do your own research because everyone reacts differently to it because it's metabolized by the liver and there are crazy discrepancies in liver enzymes from person to person.
