Quit my job last week. Hated it. Sigh of relief. Negotiated an early leave date with "gardening leave" meaning I leave and still get paid for my notice period without working 💯

This is my last week. I've barely got shit to do. Thinking of booking a holiday. But I have no one to spend it with 😢

Seriously wtf do I do. I'm literally only looking forward to early retirement. That's my only motivation for working. But I'm getting a taste of it rn and I'm genuinely unsure what makes me happy. Wtf do I do?

All of these options seem shit AF. What do I do? Its my last few months in my 20s.... 😭

Honestly boyo, I think you should go to Morocco and Algeria, see what your ideal foids are like in person and maybe go sightseeing in the Atlas Mountains or something. Being in a place with your dream foids and doing cool shit there, that’s what I did when I went to Iceland, time of my life. But you should go into it with an open mind, like whatever happens happens.

Eurocels are so lucky with how easy it is to travel there, from America it’s a full day of flying and the hassle of taking time off of work, I can only do it one or two weeks at a time and maybe once per year.

I took a similar break early in my career (2 years in), and next thing I know that break became a sabbatical year and ran through all my savings but it was fun to not have to work.

I genuinely would have went to Morocco if any of the girls I was talking to were serious. But yeah Id just go chill, I'm over women at this point...

Yeah it's definitely over for you Americacels. It's cheap AF esp from London. Flying thousands of miles is cheaper than a domestic train ticket JFL.

A train ticket peak time from somewhere like Colchester to central London (1hr 20 minutes) costs like £42 :lul:

I've got enough savings to keep me going 2 years. I'm worried if I take a long break like that I'd just become lazy AF. Also recruiters don't like breaks in your CV.

Just mention going freelancing and it didn’t quite work out for you.
