Jaw Surgery Advice

Can anyone give me some advice?

I’m 18 and have had a severe underbite my whole life. I have my first consultation with a jaw surgeon tomorrow.

For aesthetics do you think upper jaw surgery would make a big difference for me? Are there any other surgeries I should look into?

Yeah, you would benefit both functionally and aesthetically. Keep in mind that sometimes they operate on both jaws even when you have an underbite. Also your surgery would probably be almost fully covered by insurance/healthcare. Good luck with the appointment.
