Jaw surgery

There's a good chance that I might be able to get a double jaw surgery AND get it all coverd by my insurance (just be german, brutal). Long story short I have sleep apnea and I have been a mouth breather all my live which has caused me to develop a long face.

This is great news for me as I suffer very much from my long face and that surgery would save my life.
Litterly the only thing helping me rn is my height, so atleast I don't need to get a LL unlike a lot of other people.

You might still get cucked if your insurance/medical provider sets you up with a surgeon who’s only focused on functionality instead of aesthetic improvement. So you better be on top of it.

My mom had a double jaw surgery at the same place and tbh it looked good so I'm not super worried about that.

The surgeons actually care about the aesthethics too so it will most likely be fine

That’s positive. How long ago did she get it? And for the same reason as you?

She had it for a different reason.
Her jaw was recessed at that point that it was way too far back and it was affecting the breathing (the breathing canal was too narrow).

She had it quite long ago, like 5-6 years.

Generally ya. I love my result but my coworker got botched from a covered dr. But some people can get lucky with a good Doc before they transition out of network.
