QUESTION

When I got married to my husband I did not love him. I committed adultery. I cheated on him. But now it's been a year we are married. I really love him. I didn't know he is such a good man and I didn't realise I am wrong at that moment. I'm changed now, I repented, I cried. Should I tell him the truth? I'm totally changed now. I pray 5 times, I cover myself, I wear hijab. I left all haram things.

ANSWER

It's not permissible at all to tell him or anyone about your previous sins! If you tell him, Allah will not forgive you with such sins and most likely he will divorce you on the spot.

If I wasn't aware Islam is the truth, I would have left the religion a long time ago because of these freaks. This is just sick. No mention of death penalty for adultery? Telling a woman to withhold the truth from her husband continuously? He has every right to divorce that scumbag of a cheating whore. And if you think this is the only imam who thinks like this, you're wrong. Many imams have told women it's okay to be a degenerate, just hide it the best you can.

Jesus christ imagine being this husband. You think you're marrying a religious girl who's nice and pure. Come to find out not only did she cheat on you, but an actual imam (someone who should be the person GIVING YOU RELIGIOUS ADVICE) is telling her to lie to you... wow. I can't with religion anymore srs. It's all fucked.

It's just heartbreaking, man. I really feel for that poor bastard but that is the fate of many men, man. That's why I have distanced myself from any sect and just think what makes sense and what doesn't, and let met tell you what this fat bastard is spewing here does NOT make sense.

Cuck scholar - where is this from? Adultery legally doesn't invalidate marriage btw - at this rate cuck Muslims would welcome it like Will Smith.

Given her admission to the crime of adultery, particularly while married, the prescribed punishment is stoning. If she were unmarried, it would have been 100 lashes or being locked in the house until death do her part.

If she had not confessed, four witnesses would have been required for her punishment to be enacted.

And those of your women who commit illegal sexual intercourse, take the evidence of four witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them (i.e. women) to houses until death comes to them or Allah ordains for them some (other) way.

If this happened before they were married, she isn't obliged to disclose her past. However, since it happened during the marriage, we all know the consequences.

Be careful with saying it’s shirk, there is no sin too big for Allah to forgive. Al-Bukhaari (44) and Muslim (193) narrated from Anas that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah and has in his heart goodness the weight of a grain of barley will be brought out of Hell, then whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah and has in his heart goodness the weight of a grain of wheat will be brought out of Hell, then whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah and has in his heart goodness the weight of an atom (or a small ant) will be brought out of Hell.” Shirk is saying Jesus is equal to Allah or something like that. Do you mean Bidah?

Shirk is basically saying God has associates. However, claiming to have the same knowledge as God is a form of shirk. Did God tell you He forgave you? Pretty sure He didn’t. The death penalty is meant as a way to cleanse someone of their sin, at least that’s the interpretation of the scholars.

Why are you, as a non-Arab using so many Arabic words? Why are you referring to God in Arabic? What is “shirk”? And why are you also using Arabic to refer to it? Why must one say “Laa ilaaha ill-Allah” in Arabic? Why must you recite your “shahada” in Arabic as well?

Have you no shame, sir? Arabic is not your mother tongue.

I could say “God”, doesn’t matter to me. That’s what I say when I pray, I just used the Arabic terms, because that’s what the sources state. Had I had any saying I would’ve asked God to not chose Jews/israelites and Arabs for his revelation because there languages are OD asf to interpret and one word could mean like 10 things not to mention how guttal, vocal, Semitic/afroasiatic languages are horrific for someone with a strong accent because if you slightly mispronounce one word because you gawked it out instead of using only the bottom left part of one’s diaphragm or whatever wack assz advice they give for pronounciation, the whole entire meaning of everything you said just changes even if legitimately barely sounds different. I’m confused God sent all his revelations to middle eastern people because they are always attacking each other and he has to remind them time after time

So you pray in your native language? That is haram, sir. In Islam, it is mandatory for your daily prayers to be recited in Arabic. There is Quranic & Hadith support for this & Islamic scholarship consensus is in agreement as well. Also, the Quran is only valid in Arabic.

Judaism (and obviously Christianity) does not have such problems, just to make that clear. Prayers can be done in any language. God can be referred to in any language. Scriptural discussion and interpretation can be done in any language. God is not bigoted and He also understands every language and doesn’t mandate you refer to Him in Arabic :)

There are two types of prayer in Islam. Worship, and asking God for something. Worship is done in Arabic, when asking something for God after worship, this can be done in whatever language. In Christianity worship varies from denomination. I know orthodox Christian’s bow and prostrate and then get up, they do that repeatedly in there prayers. Catholics have mass, with the Eucharist, they eat the “flesh and blood” of Christ but I’m not sure if they have any other forms of worship, and i know Protestants hold concerts or sermons and raise there hands.

Denominational traditions are of no relevance here. My concern was strictly about the language of use that is mandated in Islam. You also just confirmed that worship is done in Arabic. Why? You do not speak Arabic yet you babble off Arabic lines that you do not understand nor recite in genuine contrition.

This should be embarrassing for you, but knowing you muslimcels, nothing embarrasses you. Following a foreign deity is of no concern to you poor souls
