But imo he's the most skilled painter ever tbh. His work is so true to life and abstract at the same time.

I often struggle to connect to ultrarealistic paintings or drawings. Technically, it's impressive, but it feels they are portraying a sort of 'hyper-reality' i can't really connect with, because it has more 'resolution' than real life does.

Singer Sargent's paintings are like the perfect blend of realism and impressionism, it's legit insane how this nigga creates the most universally recognizable shapes out of nothing, basically. He's the GOAT.

Reminds me a little of Sorolla but his paintings have more definition, in some aspects it doesn't look impressionist as he manages to paint the shades in a more realistic way, feels like when you use RT in gaming.
