I think he regrets giving up his academic career. Sure, he’s become rich through his books and appearances, but deep down he’s still an academic, not some fanatical Bible Belt apologist. His daughter is a slacker, his son is a loser, and his wife is weird.

He clung desperately to muh centrism and individualism, even as it became clear that people were fed up and moving toward more radical positions. He only eats cooked meat, where most of the nutrients are destroyed, and cooking creates carcinogens anyway. Salt is a toxic rock.
Add 2/3 doses of toxic experimental vaccines and a history of abusing antidepressants to that, and voila, this is the end result.

Should've just eaten raw meat, he still would be doing fine now.
