Havent ate fruits in like over a week

Just ate 4 plums.

Is it good

It just made my gut feel lowkey bloated

maybe ur not used to the sudden fibre intake after a week of avoiding fruit. don’t eat four all at once. try a smaller amount and slowly build ur tolerance up

I’m pretty sure fibre also exists in the flesh and skin of fruit not just the seeds lol. please don’t lie

yeah that’s for people who eat fruits regularly

u generally avoid fruits on ur diet as u stated previously. ur stomach is clearly not used to fibre

same think happened to me when i left the animal based diet. i introduced bananas and oranges, and felt bloated and heavy after consuming them. i don’t get that feeling anymore

keep eating fruits and ur body will get used to it

this is entirely false. your body functions the best in ketosis. if you train which I do btw ketosis means you will have better endurance as compared to direct consumptions of carbs which will give a temporary boost to energy and a dip that is even worse than baseline. For red blood cells and neurons and stuff there is gluconeogenesis which creates the amount you need and it keeps them stable in terms of energy provided.

choosing to allocate more of your diet towards proteins and fats instead of carbs will actually improve your hair and nail health, as your diet will have more nutrients since carbs (particularly sugars which is what fruit gives you, as compared to starches) do not have efficient micronutrients for this stuff. For example, your hair is going to be best when your body has good calcium levels, which requires vitamin k2 to synthesise. No carbohydrates will really give this, you can get k1 which has issues of its own from consuming various vegetables but those are not carbohydrates rather they are almost entirely water or nuts which are mostly fats. For your nails you need biotin as the main nutrient, which is sourced:

So very inefficient to get it from seeds or potatoes, and taking a look a potato is 76% water while seeds are 51% fat and 21% protein. The carbohydrate has nothing to do with helping micronutrients, not is it an essential macronutrient.
