Just found out I started balding at 17

I'm 22 and obviously I'm already on Finasteride, but last night I was going through pics to see when it started

It started at fuckin 17, with my temples thinning and my dad and grandpa have full head of hair at late 40s and late 70s

Thankfully, Balding was slow and nobody notices it and curtain haircut works well to hide any potential signs

Reminder that balding genes come from your mother's side

Also I wouldn't notice I was balding without using Creatine even if it accelerated my hair loss

i guess everyone balda at least 0.5 norwoods in his early teens - end of twenties

If it stops / slows down then its maturing, if it carries on / accelerates it's just MPB. I was NW0 at 20, then it all of a sudden started balding, although like you said, some people's hair just matures and stops for a while.

Don't worry Finasteride will stop balding and if you started balding relatively recently, you have good chance of regrowth on Finasteride alone

I wish I started it earlier, but I'm so thankful for it either way

I staretd balding so early that, despite getting on fin at 17, i STILL needed to get a Hair Transplant to fix my Hairline. It is truly over for my hair genetics.
