holy fuck, this is unreal

I can't believe I wasted so much time on 13 inch and 15 inch laptops for so long

Mac mini m4 is prob the best everyday computer you can buy atm, unless gaming is a high priority.

absolutely, or unless you need to take your laptop to places

even then, a cheap Chromebook + Mac mini combo is better than owning just a MacBook

a laptop is only truly advantageous for people who need to move entirely every few weeks like digital nomads

Did you get the base specs? I'm thinking of only upgrading the ram to 24gb and getting a 2tb external ssd.

base model $599, but only about $260 since I traded in my MacBook Air M1

My HP laptop got me $140, that I put towards the monitor

16 gb ram is more than enough

it's not worth future proofing, since it's such an affordable machine, that in 5 years, when it's time to upgrade again, it'll be $599 but 32 gb ram and m9 processor
