Just lol I went in to talk about my TMD symptoms and concerns with my jaw and occlusion. He told me from the x-rays he couldn’t determine if something was wrong with my condyles so I will need an MRI.

GET THIS when I brought up malocclusion and showed him x-rays he said I didn’t look like I had malocclusion. Jfl I swear to god this guy start trying to measure my forward growth using the Frankfurt plane and concludes that my jaws don’t deviate enough from the norm to warrant orthognatic surgey

Meanwhile my fucking surgeon literally asked me to jut my jaw as to how much movement I wanted JFL

My teeth will decompensate and my upper front teeth will move 5mm forward (according to my orthodontist). I'll look like this before surgery.

Basically if I'm satisfied with 5mm of lower jaw movement, I only have to do bsso + genio.

Otherwise DJS + genio.

You are in the US tho, so honestly wage slave for a bit and go with one of the European surgeons that's preached around here.

US is an absolute shit hole. I'm in the neighboring country to yours up north and our hospital fees are paid for by the government.

I only have to pay the surgeon's fee which is $10000. My surgeon is originally from the US and said I'll be paying $100k if I'm in the states.
