Ye it can help prevent the DHT effects but won't do shit against exogenous synthetic androgens unfortunately, so mostly useless, yeah.. if you want to roid you have to stay on T only + dutasteride, some guys do fine on this, some very sensitive guys can still lose hair when T levels are that extremely high though I believe..

Purely research/science based, the clincals I’m seeing are showing relatively similar levels with a bit more negative libido effects when the patient is on dutasteride. Also dutasteride is more systemic + potent; that’s interesting though I’ll skim through some anecdotes as well

they’re both systemic because they both enter the blood stream and effect the entire body rather than a localized area, however dutasteride is more harsh with these effects because it inhibits both types of the alpha-5-reductase enzyme, whereas finasteride inhibits only one of the types

No it is the opposite!! Finasteride crosses the blood-brain-barrier easily, dutasteride shouldn't because of its very large molecular size in theory. This could help explain lower statistical incidences of sexual side-effects + plenty of user experiences of the same, if dut doesn't cross the blood-brain-barrier or poorly that means DHT and neurosteroid levels inside the actual brain are less affected than on fin.

And yeah statistically in studies sexual sides are lower on group on dutasteride than the one on finasteride.

Also more even tissue DHT inhibition because dut also suppresses type 1 5-ar enzyme unlike fin which only affects type 2, some tissues in your dick and genital tract have more type 2 only others more type 1 or rather mix of it, so you can MAYBE get a more even muscle tone on dut than on fin in those areas that makes everything work smoother instead of one place being high in tone/DHT still another suppressed. Anyway this is just what some other guys have suggested + discussing this topic with AI.

But yeah less sides on dut than fin is a real phenomenom.
