True but once singularity is achieved if we don't destroy everything like monkeys we are smart but still monkeys, then anything other than need for survival can be discarded and changed fundamentally in ways we can't comprehend. Sorry I can't because it's kind of complex. But here is different way of saying it.

To be human is only one step of the way in the evolution of consciousness. A lot of users here think that going beyond humanity is cope because they don't see big picture. They think this monkey brain is be all end all.

But in reality if you think that going beyond humanity with technology is cope you are close minded and doomed to never advance. Because it's like a rat or a worm thinking anything beyond it's consciousness and mind is cope. Of course there are things beyond this monkey brain we can't comprehend.
