I've never taken modafinil so don't know much about it. It's a wakefulness enhancer and should help you focus on trivial things for longer. So it should work for you

People have reported no addiction to it
The effect is quite strong
No nasty sides as far as I'm aware
Possibility of nausea, headaches and nervousness
Appetite suppressant for upto 16 hours, good for me as I'm cutting
Important: if taken in the evening, it will fuck up your sleep. So ideally should be taken in the morning. Makes sense cus it is a wakefulness drug.
Also be warned when taking with caffeine, you could experience the common sides when of caffeine overdose which are really unpleasant. On the other hand, you potentially might not get any sides, and if you take it with pre-workout before gym youll get the sickest buzzes.

With me I'm not necessarily depressed, just pretty demotivated at the moment to study. It'll help me work hours at a time without being distracted or be focused at certain tasks

Did you also take caffeine that day?
Pretty sure you're supposed to take 100mg when you first take it.
Taking 200mg straight off the bat is meant for sleep disorder patients

Good luck, even though theyre good if you wanna crack down for 10 hours of revision in one day, dont rely on them too much
