I have zero acne though JFL, I heard that Retin-A is good for anti-aging which is why I got it, or is that just a dumb myth perpetuated by users here?

It will increase the sheen of the skin a bit, and some studies have shown that. Others have shown no effect. I would not use retina except to treat acne as it seems to damage my skin whenever I use it excessively, although mine comes with an antibiotic. I'm not too sure though, maybe a thin film over the skin each day would be good. You'd have to look into it more
