can you guys PM me results of your k2 dosing results? ive started mega dosing at 400mg MK7 and 16,000 IU D3

cope supplement it does literally nothing,as long as your not completely deficient in vit D which is impossible in the western diet

almost everyone is deficient in vit D nowadays. 10k IU of vit D made me go from the bottom of the range to the upper part of the range

I will be taking 5mg a day in 2024 for the whole year along with weight bearing exercise, will be using wrist size to gauge any growth. Pm me and I will keep you updated. K2 for appositional bone growth should increase bone volume/thickness in theory, through the increase in osteoblast to osteoclast ratio, but we will see.

seems that for your purpose mk4 is better but most brands have low quantity, you can try kuinone topical

That's too much, if you take it consistently you can develop hypercalcemia, you have to pair it with vit k
Now there seems to be a balance for vitamin k1 and k2 mk4, which too vit k2 can disrupt
Taking a megadose of vitamin k1, since the body coverts it to the right ratios, while taking a moderate dose of k2 mk4 or mk7 might be the best option

Lol, there is a lack of measured results on this type of shit on the forum so whether or not it does anything, it will be good to get some clarity and put the theory to the test.

what dose you recomend? i've read that minimum should be 1mg and benefits scale up to 5mg approximately

If your having teeth issues 300-500mcg has helped people

For example, a dose of 360 µg/day MK-7 seems to be too much, it increases vascular calcification

And 50k per day vitamin D is a fucking lot, high doses are like 50-100k ui per week
If you don't consume enough calcium and take too much vitamin d it will take calcium from you bones to your blood jfl so yeah

High doses appear to be safe at least short term, but if your serum 25OHD3 or 1,25OH2D3 is already too high vascular calcification can be a problem which too much vit k2 potentially makes worse.

That said here are the doses I would take, note that this is my opinion as of now
  • 500 mcg/day (long term) - 10mg/day (short term) of vitamin K1
  • Up to 200 mcg/day vitamin k2 mk7
  • Up to 10k ui d3/day, checking your blood would be ideal
Eating dark leafy greens, more vegetables and fruits will give you a nice baseline of vit k, calcium and many other nutrients
Pills are supplements and you should know what you are doing if you take high doses of something

k2 mk4 would do the opposite though, it functions by transporting calcium from the blood to bones and teeth. it isn’t that widely discussed atm so all guidelines and recommendations will be built around a k2 mk4 deficiency, but with large doses you can likely take far more calcium and d3

i’m not sure if it does directly convert to mk4 because the body has baseline mk7 levels which shows that it does naturally occur, and when taken those levels increase, which they wouldn’t if it was just converted to mk4

They mention Mk7 serum levels because it is present in the body after supplementation, not because it was present in the first place.
It converts to mk4 and it's more effective at raising serum mk4 than mk4 supplementation, although everything is dose dependent (they used the same dose), higher dose of mk4 will raise it too.

your body doesnt even absorb it everytime I took k2 I would shit it all out with diaherra and stomach cramps and I was taking it with fat eat fermented raw cheeses instead
