One thing that annoyed me was throughout the whole Karen becoming a meme was that people didn't realize this was a byproduct of an aging foids becoming old and losing their normal abilities to get what they want. That is also why you saw it mostly being white woman too because they were the one to mostly experience the privileges of being a pretty girl when they were young but they lost that so they try to demand things of people but having nothing to offer anymore. Watch any of the video's of karen and just imagine them being a pretty girl in the beginning and think about how the person would respond if they werent dealing with a aged woman.

I never thought of it like that, it would make sense though most people are afraid of confronting the workers. I actually have experienced this when my cousin said that my auntie was asking too much things from the waitress but that's her job lol, I thought of taking the tip my auntie left for her because the waitress was shit at her job but I felt like I was stealing more from my auntie. But other than that I have seen my coworkers tell nice customers that cant do something for them, but they could of got the manager, and because the customer is nice they leave it at that, but if they were an aggressive customer saying that wanted to see the manager than my coworkers would and the mean customer usually got what they wanted. I remember that being a realization moment
