Hello everybody, as THE ORG’s certified #1 hater 
of facial and body hair, I will be ranking all the popular longterm hair removal techniques as I’m probably the only one with enough cashflow and time spent on the grind to have actually done them all 
The bottom line here is there is no effective hair removal method that doesn’t hurt. A good general rule is - if it ain’t hurtin, it ain't workin. JFL at some clinics out here trying to tell people their laser is ‘painless’ and ‘comfortable’
And now for the main event, my considerations for laser hair removal packages, the only true method for large areas. For consistency here is my comparative rating
Pain level 4-9/10
Cost effectiveness: Depends on laser effectiveness. I've gotten both 1 and 10/10 level results
Hair clearing: See table, regen times comparable to electrolysis
Taking less than 2 hours to complete a full body session, if you get a good deal on Groupon or whatever for a 8-12 piece package it’s usually a good investment if you account for time spent shaving (or whatever else you were doing to clear out hairs). Back in the day shaving my entire body took longer than some cuts of Apocalypse Now
... I have attached a table at the bottom showing the effectiveness of each area for me (It's now been about one year since my last treatment), and the cost of the packages. The only area I didn’t test was the underarm, because everybody overcharges the FUCK for those and it only takes like 5 minutes to epilate.
Here are my most important warnings for those wanting to buy a laser package:

What I notice here is I got much better results on areas where I had previously run the epilator a few times. Unfortunately I have no way to predict what specific laser brand will actually work best on you. It’s not like you have much room to go shopping around, I just went to the clinics that gave me deals on groupon ngl

Pain level 2-7/10 (Most methods will have a variable range depending on area, with back being the easiest and dick being the hardest)
Cost effectiveness 2/10
Hair clearing: Over 95 percent, lasting for 10-14 days
Yeah, waxing is only really useful to test the waters before you proceed onwards to a laser treatment, or if you truly just need the hair gone temporarily (like for a competition or beach day). Hard waxing can also cause really bad folliculitis, which eats about 3-5 of your 10-14 hair free days. Sugar waxing is better for the skin and slightly less painful but most wax places will charge a bit more for that. Unfortunately in my case I’m still getting a back wax fairly regularly because the hairs below my scapula weren’t dark enough to respond well to the lasers

I lowered my rating on this because I'm not at all convinced these devices have any truly permanent effects. Before I bought my arm laser package I ran the Nood on my arms about 15 times and at least 75% of the hairs ended up regrowing so I returned the device. Maybe it has truly semi permanent effects if you run it like 40 fucking times idk
(If anyone on org figures out how to get real results out of this, I might bump this up the ranking)
What these can definitely do is stop hairs in target areas from regrowing for as much as 20 days, giving it the edge over Nair, even though it would probably take well over 3 hours to run the device on your entire body because of the slow ass pulse cycle time. I would definitely not recommend buying this, even if you’re only doing the face - a 10 piece face laser package is usually less than $500, compared to like $200 for the device. The time you would waste trying to do any large area with ts would certainly make the device not worth it.

The epilator is a goated machine, if you can handle it that is. It costs less than $100 and will last for a decade, removing any hair that the gauntlet of tweezers can swipe. The only issue is, this fucking torture device hurt so much I threw in the towel and paid $1000 for a leg laser package after only 9 times clearing my legs with it. Good luck trying to clear your face with this, I managed one time to run this on my entire face it was probably the worst pain I ever dealt with. (Not to mention the folliculitis was even worse than with waxing…)

Electrolysis is a godsend for blondcels (and those with a shitty useless mustache LMAO), as its the only permanent method available that doesn’t rely on pigmentation to destroy a hair follicle. The main drawback (and feature) of electrolysis is that each hair has to be precisely targeted individually with the needle, meaning that even the most skilled practitioner can only zap around 1000 hairs in an hour. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried to count the amount of hairs on your face and/or neck, but I would estimate it’s around 5000-7500. The legs might as well have a fucking million. This is why electrolysis is only really useful as a CLEANUP method AFTER at least 8-10 laser sessions have already been attempted on any given area, unless the target area is very small (less than 1000 hairs - e.g. lips or unibrow).
Blondcels can skip that prep step, but due to scaling issues they should only really attempt electrolysis on the face, dick, ass crack, and maybe the rear neck. I hear people talk about ‘getting electrolysis for their legs’ and have to JFL. Even in the case that 95% of your leg hairs have been already killed by lasers, it would still take well over an hour to target the remaining hairs with the needle. In this economy
Here's an embarrassing story (and warning) for yall, because I didn’t want to pay the $250 to add my hands to my arm laser package, I instead wasted well over $1000 on electrolysis sessions for my hands (at around $1/minute). My first 2 hour session barely managed to clear out a single hand. Though well over 90 percent of the hairs are dead now, some of these hairs are in fact still alive after taking 15 shots (one of the most brutal effects of the needle is it can stimulate collagen production in the adjacent area, causing some of the ‘half dead’ hairs to regenerate). brutal indeed @xzylecrey

- Hairs that appear faint may be minimally affected (like most of the ones on my back), and some areas may require as many as 20 sessions to properly clear out. So you really gotta budget and plan for ts.
- You will probably not be able to get zapped in most places (especially the face) in the summer due to post-treatment light sensitivity. So a lot of clinics offer discounts to purchase in October-December.
- I have low confidence in the effectiveness of a laser package while on cycle. Perhaps @edodalicreturns can assuage my concern, but being in the midst of this brutal campaign is the main reason why I was natty coping for so long.
- During your package consultation, check the apertures of the device attachments the clinic is using. Laser machines that do not include a small aperture attachment will be straight up minimally effective on the lips, nipples or ass crack (which are 3 of the most important areas) due to the physical limitations of the regular size handle attachment. The aperture needs to be able to make direct contact with the skin for the laser to work.
