keratosis pilaris fix?

i have a shit ton on my arms and it honestly just makes my arms look ugly as fuck from up close. does anyone have experience w kp and know what truly does work to get rid of it, i’ve tried using exfoliating gloves in the shower and applying salycilic acid afterwards, but that didn’t work for me after several weeks. last resort is honestly accutane since i’ve heard it can clear it up

I have it and started using Cerave daily moisturizing lotion, adapalene, and exfoliate aggressively. I've only been doing this exact schedule for a few weeks and its gone away significantly. Might not be the same for you though.

tldr; Moisturize, Exfoliate, Retinoids.
