it’s almost embarrassing to upload pics of my face due to how bad my collagen is. This is 6 MONTHS after quitting minoxidil. Finally going to see what my treatment options are on Thursday (or get referred to another more knowledgeable doctor). Ascension might come soon for me.

Look at how grey and dead my skin is, how frizzy and dry my hair looks. The wrinkles on my neck. My weakened eyebrows. Yes, I showered this morning. It’s all coming to an end soon hopefully.

I can’t tell you how many people IRL have asked me if I started doing drugs. Yeah, if minoxidil counts as a drug.

No acne. Skin is smooth, that’s hyperpigmentation that hasn’t gone away due to no collagen in the skin.

I do have a few pimples near the jawline but my forehead, skin, and cheeks are completely pimple free.

I still had acne before minox but once I started I got a shit ton of acne around the cheeks. Now it’s gone and just acne scars that haven’t gone away due to no collagen.

Collagen isn't just stored in the skin, it's stored in the hair, teeth, eyes, ect.

Also a lazer probably wouldn't work for me because it encourages cell proliferation which is what Minoxidil permanently prevents from happening.

Yes, it was. When I got off of Minoxidil the sides faded for about a week. My skin legit looked the best it ever had 5 days after quitting minoxidil. My skin was glowing, my libido was through the roof. Then by day 7 I was back to "normal" and I've stayed here since with absolutely no recovery.

This is going to be the hardest thing to explain to my doc. I'm afraid she's going to see some slight vitamin deficiency, blame that on all the sides I've experiences with skin and libido, and I'll leave there with another cope supplement.
