Interesting, I used to do this all the time, since I was a kid, I didn't know this even had a name, I would create all sorts of identities and fake stories and I would act different with the various people around me.
However, now that I'm thinking, everyone else did the same thing: some guys were excessively polite with the teachers and grown ups, then they would act all ghetto with their peers, they would put another mask when interacting with girls, and tell all sorts of wild, fake stories, and so on...
