Hello guys,

I got diagnosed with:
Skeletal: Skeletal Class III malocclusion (ANB -2.2°) with maxillary retrusion and transverse maxillary deficiency. Mandibula orthognathic to mildly prognathic. Both maxilla and mandible anteriorly inclined (counter-clockwise rotation). Horizontal (brachyfacial) growth pattern. True Wits -9.8mm. Proclined upper and lower incisors.

Dental: IOTN 4c. Angle Class III molar relationship (¾ cusp distal bilaterally). Anterior crossbite on teeth 22, 23 / 32, 33. Overjet 2mm, overbite 2mm. Transverse constriction of the maxillary arch with V-shaped arch form. Lingual tipping of 46, 45, 44, 36, 35, 34. Buccal tipping of 33. Rotations in the premolar region bilaterally. All four third molars impacted and displaced. Mandibular fixed retainer in situ. Full complement of 28 teeth present.

He sent me to a surgeon and they are planning to do a Le Fort I two-piece osteotomy and get the braces on for 2-3 years.

My lower third is asymmetrical and my nose is tipping a bit to the right and I have two different profiles, my left side looks better than the right. Ramus and everything looks better on the left. And my right eye is kinda lower than the left.

Do you guys think that the planned treatment will help me to fix my asymmetry and my right profile?

Bro do you really think a bunch of org members have the capabilities to understand half the things you said. You should ask your surgeon with this. Ask him if there would be any bone asymmetry. if there will, then its over., If not then you can reduce asymmetry by losing weight and sleeping on one side more than the other

Ye, I understand it but you never know trying my luck to find someone with a bit of knowledge, I asked my surgeon like i feel like me right side is different to the left and my mandible is different, I asked that 2 different surgeons and both like looked at me for less than 4 secs and said ye its fine no need for lower jaw surgery. But ye I will try to ask them again.

I am in the exact same boat as you, still waiting for my surgeon to have the appointment with me lol.
He could still say im not eligible for surgery smh

Yes this will help. Lefort 1 and braces both contribute to fixing major

the planned le fort i two-piece osteotomy plus 2-3 years of braces will meaningfully improve your midface projection and overall profile by advancing and widening the maxilla to fix retrusion and crossbite, but it is unlikely to fully resolve the described asymmetries in the lower third, ramus, nasal tip deviation, or right eye position, as the procedure only moves the maxilla and leaves mandibular and orbital issues largely untouched. some profile balance should occur, yet secondary procedures may still be needed for complete symmetry correction.

Ye i was expecting something like that but improvement is improvement. Thanks tho

Braces for 2 3 years sounds way to long
Ye its his way of making money, he likes to keep his lil guys long in braces. 3 of my friends were at that doctor all had braces for that long. But very good results ngl. And since they had good results with him, I ended up there.

Ye bro, worst thing they give me appointments every like 2-3 months and it takes so long. I have started this whole journey year ago and only getting braces on in 3 weeks. Lowkey bullshit even tho i am paying them myself no insurance.

Braces are the same amount despite the timing
