ABOUT ME

I joined recently after being a guest viewer from time to time. Hardmax was always the goal from early on, even before I knew about bp and this forum.

A couple of months ago I had a Lefort 1 and BSSO surgery done while in High School during the end of summer, and I stayed 2 months home while school began to recover.

Me and the doctor had planned to also get the genioplasty done as well, but since I had a lot of bilateral movement foward he thought it would be way to risky. Now I have the surgery officially scheduled for this May. Basically first part of the surgery done in August 2025 and now getting the final part done in May 2026 to complete the trimax.

For everyone interested in surgery/hardmaxxing here's what I'll say about my experience:

I stayed in the PICU (under 18 ICU) for two nights straight, the doctor was worried if I could breath on my own since I also got a septoplasty, these two nights and days felt very long and honestly the worst part of the recovery.

My face was already extremely swollen and I could hardly breath since blood kept dripping down my throat and my nose clogged up. I was also getting used to a liquid only diet consisting of only protein milk in the hospital.

I left the hospital after barely consuming anything-- this marked the start of my home recovery where I stayed 3 weeks straigth with my mouth wired shut where my diet consisted of homemade soup and protein milk. All I did was sleep upright and consumed media. I lost around 10 pounds becuase of this. I recommend bulking up before this type of surgery.

During this 3 week period the hardest part was getting used to the liquid diet and also the mess it made since I lacked mouth mobility and swelling only worsened. Lots of media helped the day pass quickly, and also the motivation of ascending 1% each day.

After the 3 week period this when I got easier; I was able to eat only soft foods but no chewing until the 8 week mark. I was still very swollen especially on the right side of my jaw which had nearly 2 CM movement foward. During this time I had to get active and started daily walking and more skincare focus.

I never had acne but because of my habits and diet (protein milk) during these weeks I developed mild acne.

After being allowed to eat properly and having more outside world access-- the days went by faster, especially with ground beef becoming easier to consume mashed up. Although, after hitting the 8 week mark I was still hesistant on chewing foods and approached it very slow, I'd say I started eating fully normal mid October.

I don't wanna type too much but if needed ask questions and I'll answer and provide more tips. Overall surgery was very worth it for me and my progression.

BTW: My parents paid around $900 for the entire process. Everything else was covered by insurance. I also had braces on before surgery for around a year and a half. Out of pocket: $6000.

Even though the surgery is scheduled already; I need tips to ensure the best results. What should I ask for the doctor?

I requested implants but he highly encouraged against it because of the risks associated and the constant check ups for it. He also said no implants would give better results.

All I need for this surgery is my chin point fully aligned with my nose point, as well as, more facial height. Lets chat.
