Recently looked at Giant Implants' Most Newest LeFort II case
Summary of his Case and Plan:
Hes getting a Lefort 2 advancement with CLOCKWISE rotation.
My Point
In this forum, people really like to push the idea that the maxillary differences in East Asian/SEA bone structure are death-tier. Fair enough, it's a flaw.
And in theory, LeFort 2 advancement would transform it into a Caucasian-like maxilla.
But self-loathing Gooks like PEENO act like it's rope-tier.
In reality, it still looks OK in motion. PEENO is just coping with his death-tier IPD
Hell, even Chico has this feature, more or less. Likely due to his Slavic ancestry.
However, the LeFort 2 guy has a rotational deformity in his nasomaxillary complex that rotates his nose into his eyes and leaves his premaxilla projected.
This shit actually fucks up so many essential harmony angles, especially his entire goddamn nose.
Keep in mind he's frauding hard with a beanie so you cant see the entire side profile in entirety.
LeFort 2 was definitely indicated, and I'm excited to see the results.
So, the difference is that the Asian maxilla is only retruded linearly, not rotated at all.
At least, gooks can have this feature while keeping aesthetic harmony ratios and angles, and can even mog. You wouldn't see a giga-successful model with a rotational deformity in high fashion, would you?
So yea, LeFort 2 would theoretically fix this feature in Asians, but there are better ROI procedures that can significantly improve your SMV: rhinoplasty, trimax, canthoplasty, LL, supra implants, etc. LeFort 2's risk profile just isn't that great for the result unless you REALLY want to have a Caucasian maxilla for whatever reason...
So now I personally think getting LeFort 2 is utterly retarded.
