Lidocaine for Microneedling

I bought a 2.5% lidocaine 2.5% prilocain cream at the pharmacy without a prescription, they said for concentrations like 4-5%, you need a prescription which I don't have. So is the cream that I purchased good enough for microneedling? I'm using up to 1mm now, and it's already starting to hurt, bleed, and make my eyes watery.
