I'm starting this thread to talk about the idea of getting limb lengthening surgery at my current height of 5'7" (170 cm) as a 28M by the time of the surgery.

A bit of background: I'm originally from Brazil, where being 5'7" is considered just below average for young men (about 5'8"). I didn't have any dating issues until I moved to Europe, where the average height is around 5'9" to 5'10". Even with height insoles, I still feel short because most women here seem to prefer guys who are at least 6 feet tall.

Money isn’t a problem for me; I'm looking into getting the surgery done at the Paley Institute but am open to other clinics that might be safer and more affordable. I’m hoping to gain around 8 cm in femur length and 6 cm in tibia length, which would get me to about 6 feet. After that, I could use insoles to bump it up to 6'2" if I still feel like I need it.

Just looking for some opinions on the risks involved with this surgery for that overall lengthening, especially if someone here has already undergone it. Also, I think I have a pretty decent facial structure: almond-shaped eyes, a positive canthal tilt, and good eyebrows. Right now, I’d rate myself around a 6/10, mainly due to some extra facial fat, but I think I could look even better if I lost a bit of weight. Only after losing weight I'll effectively decide if I'm going to do it or not.

wow i hope it goes well. if moneys not an issue then paleys institute sounds nice.

+14cm does sound a bit crazy tho i wont lie. if u have longer legs proportionate to ur body, id recommend a bit less expansion

From my research, I found that there are some highly reputable doctors, such as Dr. Giotikas in Greece and Dr. Betz at Betzone in Germany. However, this surgery is too risky and I don’t want to save money for a procedure that could potentially leave me crippled and fuck the rest of my life.

Thanks bro. Paley Institute offers a maximum lengthening of 16 cm. Ngl I am already satisfied with a minimum increase of 10 cm. Honestly, there isn't much of a difference between 5ft11 and 6ft, you can easily fraud it. With height insoles and AF1, you can even gain an extra 3 inches.

Thanks for sharing it

True. I think Paley makes bank off the fact that he was one of the surgery’s key innovators and has a well established track record.

I’ve seen 20cm shits crazy

Only do it if you have a good frame for a 5’7” guy already, e.g. wide bideltoid so that once you are 5’11” or whatever you will have at least an average frame for your height.

As a 6’2” guy with shit frame I can guarantee you that height without proportionality will not bring you any success.
