1) The implant here is the same length as the bone prior
and because of this
2) You can't "instantly" gain height by inserting a metal implant much longer than the bone prior. But you would instantly rip your tendons, muscles, nerves, and ligaments. There's a reason leg lengthening is a slow and steady process.
